XRange, a Dubai-based startup, envisioned creating a premium virtual driving range experience that would stand out in the market. They wanted something beyond the standard golf entertainment model—something that felt as polished and immersive as playing a top-tier console sports game like FIFA or NBA 2K, but adapted to a golf range setting.
Sozo’s Solution
Sozo Labs collaborated with XRange to bring this vision to life. We conceptualized and developed two flagship games: a soccer-themed experience with penalty shootout and free kick modes, and a basketball-themed accuracy challenge. Both games featured ultra-high-definition virtual stadiums and integrated golf radar technology. By partnering with TrackMan, a leading name in launch monitor systems, we ensured the gameplay felt seamless and realistic, translating physical golf shots into virtual sports moments.
Brand & User Experience
To deliver on the high-end feel, we worked alongside The Brash Agency to co-create the user interface and overall UX. This ensured every touchpoint—from entering the venue to navigating the game modes and leaderboards—reflected XRange’s premium brand identity.

Players are able to enjoy a sports gaming environment that feels as authentic and engaging as leading console titles, but with the unique twist of real-world golf play.
